Application for Seasonal Tourer Site 2010. Please note the following conditions: -
- 2010 season is 12th March to 3rd October. A non-refundable deposit of £250 is required with any booking, payable by cash or cheque. No reservation exists until the client receives a numbered receipt. The balance due is stated on your receipt and all outstanding balances must be paid by 31st January 2010 by cash, cheque or credit card (credit cards will incur a £30 surcharge.) Seasonal vacancies are limited with only specific pitches being allocated. Existing seasonal pitch holders must notify reception if a pitch for the next season is required, as soon as possible or at the very latest the 30 September 2009, after this date pitches will be allocated to prospective visitors on our waiting list.
- A Seasonal Pitch is strictly for owners and immediate family members (mothers, fathers, son, daughter & grandchildren, not extended family such as aunts, uncles, brothers, sisters or friends). NB There must be no other subletting. Caravans are not to be rented or hired and are to be used for holidays and leisure use only i.e. not living or working.
- Electronic barriers restrict access to the park, seasonal visitors may give up to 6 vehicle registrations (including motorbikes which need a manual access fob due to the lack of registration on the front of the vehicle, £30 returnable deposit) but only 2 registrations may be in use at any time. Please call us between 8.30am and 6pm to activate different registrations. The barriers are locked between 11pm and 8am to ensure the peace, quiet and security of all our guests. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO CHANGES IN REGULATIONS ONLY 1 CAR CAN BE PARKED AT ANY ONE TIME NEAR TO THE UNIT; THE SECOND CAR MUST PARK IN OUR NEW CAR PARK BEING DEVELOPED ON OUR CAMPING AND RALLY FIELD.
- EVERY SEASONAL TOURING CARAVAN MUST HAVE A FIRE EXTINGUISHER.
- Seasonal pitches are non-transferable i.e. if you sell your van the remainder of the season is not included, the van must leave the pitch.
- Pup tents (a 2 man tent for up to 2 children 14 years and under) can be erected next to your unit to be charged at the nightly rate. All other tents will be charged at the standard nightly rates and sited on the appropriate camping area.
- Caravans are only allowed on site provided that the caravan owners undertake to relieve the proprietor of liability whatsoever for accidents to themselves and/or loss of, or damage to their property within the precincts of the caravan park. It is a condition of entry to the park that the caravan is fully insured for fire, theft, and third party liability. Your insurance policy needs to be provided for inspection upon making a reservation and again when you renew your policy.
- Limited Winter Storage spaces are available upon completion of a Winter Storage booking form and a copy of your Caravan insurance covering the storage period is required, a full set of keys needs to be left with reception.
- The proprietor reserves the right to refuse admission to the park to any person also to require removal from the park any person or caravan to abate a nuisance or to protect the site licence.
- No caravan must have a greater number of occupants than the specified number of berths.
- Caravans on awning pitches must pay for awnings. Ground sheets must either be lifted on a daily basis, or eco-friendly / breathable groundsheets must be used on grass pitches. Undersides of caravans must be left clear to aid strimming on grass pitches.
- AWNINGS MUST BE TAKEN DOWN ON GRASS PITCHES when the caravan is unattended. Hard standing and Super Site pitches only may leave awnings erected AT THEIR OWN RISK. But all pitches need to be kept clear between visits to enable pitch maintenance (i.e. windbreaks must be taken down between visits).
- ELECTRIC CABLES MUST BE DISCONNECTED AND WATER TURNED OFF ON SUPER SITES when the caravan is unattended.
- ALL dogs must be kept on a lead at all times, and exercised either in the dog walk area or off site. If any ‘doggy accidents’ occur you will be expected to clear up immediately. Dogs are not allowed in the toilet blocks. Dogs must not be left unattended at any time.
- Please observe a 5 mph speed limit at all times.
- Children must be accompanied to showers and toilets, and are not allowed to play at water standpipes. Children must be supervised whilst playing on the playground equipment.
- A set of keys for caravans to be left in reception in case of an emergency.
- Electric awning heaters, Gazebo’s and generators are not allowed. No campfires, log burners or chimineas.
- The warden sites on arrival; a 25 metre or 27 yard cable may be required. Our electric pitches have a 10amp supply
