BOOKING CONDITIONS
- Cayton Village Caravan Park is owned and managed by Mrs C Croft. Family holidays are our business.
- We cater for families and couples and do not accept bookings from all male or all female parties of three or more persons or unaccompanied young persons. The management reserve the right to decline any application for a booking.
- For your security, peace and quiet, the electronic gates do not permit access from 11pm – 8am. People arriving late or leaving early must place their unit in the designated area on the car park and use late arrival electrics. Visitors going out late or early need to park their vehicle in the car park.
- Only minimum 3 night advance bookings (4 nights at Bank Holidays) are accepted and payment in full or a £50 deposit for each week or part week is required at time of booking. Payment of any outstanding balance is upon arrival (in cash if less than £20). Alterations to bookings can be made up to 7 days prior to arrival; a £6 admininistration fee will be charged. All confirmed bookings cannot be altered on the day of arrival. There are NO REFUNDS. The management cannot be held responsible for any change in circumstances. In the event of cancellation, deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. PAYMENT IN FULL will be due on any booking cancelled within 7 days of arrival date. For 2 night stays please call to check for availability 4 days prior to arrival or on the morning of arrival for 1 night stays.
- Reception opens at 8.30am. Check–in: Payment and siting is upon arrival from 12 noon – 6pm. We reserve the right to re-let the pitch if you do not arrive by 6pm and no notification of late arrival is received. Late arrivals accepted up until 8pm (daylight dependent) by prior arrangement only. After this time, caravans and motorhomes must site themselves on the late arrivals area (places are limited); tents must arrive the following day.
- Holiday period is 12 noon to 12 noon. LATE STAY, i.e. 12 noon to 6pm, is available (at an additional cost of £4) if we do not require your pitch. Please bring your ticket to Reception and check availability on morning of departure. If you wish to extend your stay, please bring your ticket to Reception before 12 noon on the day of departure to check availability.
- We are a strictly NO NOISE after 11pm park. We request that all visitors observe the basic rules of camping and caravanning, i.e. no loud radios or noise at early or late hours and all speed restrictions are observed.
- Children must be accompanied to showers and toilets; it is impractical for them to use the facilities by themselves. The toilets, shower, laundry and dishwashing rooms are maintained to a high standard. We would ask your co-operation to keep them that way. Children must be supervised whilst playing on the playground equipment; the playground is provided for children aged from 18 months to 12 years of age. Children are not allowed to play at water standpipes. Bicycles are allowed on the park, however, it is the parents’ responsibility to supervise their children.
- Please observe a maximum 5mph limit at all times – this is for the safety of children on the park.
- Dogs must be kept on leads at all times on the park and exercised either in the dog walk area or off site. Clean up all dog waste immediately, including on the dog walk. Dogs are not allowed in the toilet blocks or shop. Dogs must not be left unattended in your vehicle, unit or awning at any time of the year.
- Please inform us about day visitors and ask them to call in at reception.
- We CANNOT GUARANTEE ADJACENT PITCHES. The wardens site on arrival. A 25m /27yd cable may be required.
- Barbecues are allowed but must not be placed directly on the grass. Bricks are available to place disposable barbecues on. Please dispose in designated metal dustbins after the coals have cooled down to avoid the risk of fire. No campfires, log burners, Chinese lanterns or chimineas are allowed.
- One car parking space is provided on or near the pitch. Additional vehicles must be parked on the overflow car park. Please note we do accept commercial vehicles but they may need to park in our overflow car park. Please let us know at the time of booking if you have a continental unit.
- Electric awning heaters, gazebos, utility tents and generators are NOT allowed on site. A breathable groundsheet must be used in caravan awnings on grass pitches.
- Pup tents (a 2 man tent for up to 2 children aged 14 and under) or play tents with zips can be erected next to your unit to be charged at the nightly rate for pup tents. All other tents will be charged at the nightly rates and sited on the appropriate camping areas.
- No caravan or tent must have a greater number of occupants than the specified number of berths.
- Tents Pitches – all our tent pitches now include electric – size is 9m by 6m for tent and guy ropes with allocated car parking space. For units over this size please call 01723 583171 to check for availability. Dependent on availability units over this size may have to pay for 2 pitches.
- Motorhomes are only accepted on hardstanding or supersite pitches.
- Cayton Village Caravan Park shall not be liable for any loss or damage to your property by theft or otherwise or for personal injury. This does not however affect your right if loss or damage or personal injury occurred through fault on our part. Please ensure you familiarise yourself with the location of your nearest fire point.
- It is a condition of entry to the park that the caravan is fully insured for fire, theft, and third party liability.
- If you have a complaint about anything during your holiday please raise it with a member of staff in Reception immediately and if you wish to pursue it following your departure, please write to us within 28 days of your departure. However, we do suggest that you try and complete a report about the complaint whilst you are on holiday.
- If you have any comments or suggestions of ways to improve the park please come to reception and complete a comment form or talk to a member of staff in Reception.
- The management reserve the right to ask guests who contravene these terms and conditions or, who in any other way behave in a manner likely to cause distress or nuisance to other visitors, to leave the park immediately. In these circumstances the holiday ceases and we shall not be liable for any extra costs incurred by you.
Finally, we apologise for having to print a list of booking conditions. Everything we do is aimed at ensuring you have the best possible holiday. If we have any problems they will help us to protect our customers as well as ourselves. We hope we will never have to rely on them. A copy of this page is included with both our brochure pack, on our website and on the reverse of your receipt.
